CERTIFICATE II IN ANIMAL STUDIES

This is a general qualification for entry into sectors of the animal care and management industry, where workers provide care for animals in workplaces such as animal shelters, kennels, catteries, sanctuaries and veterinary clinics.

At this level, work takes place under direct supervision within clearly defined guidelines for work activities. Skills Generation have developed specialised programs to enable this qualification to be delivered to school students.

CERTIFICATE II IN COMMUNITY SERVICES

This qualification may be used as a pathway for workforce entry as community services workers who provide a first point of contact and assist individuals in meeting their immediate needs. At this level, work takes place under direct, regular supervision within clearly defined guidelines.

CERTIFICATE II IN RURAL OPERATIONS

This qualification provides an occupational outcome for industries and agencies in rural and regional Australia.

Depending on the units selected individuals can be employed not only in rural industries but also other rural and regional sectors, such as local government, tourism, hospitality, transport, construction, community services, information technology and metals.

Industry expects individuals with this qualification to carry out routine tasks under general supervision and exercise limited autonomy with some accountability for their own work.

This qualification allows individuals to develop basic functional knowledge and skills for work in customer contact positions in the sport or community recreation industry. These individuals are competent in a range of administrative activities and functions within a team and under supervision. They are involved in mainly routine and repetitive tasks using practical skills and basic sport and recreation industry knowledge.

CERTIFICATE II IN SKILLS FOR WORK AND VOCATIONAL PATHWAYS

This qualification reflects the role of entry-level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services. Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs.

This qualification is for entry-level workers. At this level, work takes place under the direction of others and supervision may be direct or indirect. Work may take place in a range of community services organisations.

CERTIFICATE III IN AVIATION (REMOTE PILOT)

This qualification is relevant to individuals operating remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS), in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and national operating standards.

Remote pilots operating at this level will apply non-technical and technical knowledge and skills to demonstrate autonomy and judgement and will take limited responsibility in known and stable operational contexts within established regulatory parameters.
